out Downtown L.A., the dogs are taking over…the nightlife that is! On March 25, the
downtown based, pet company, PETaPOTTY, in association with the “art-club,”
Hangar 1018, will host the grand opening of SkyBARK.
SkyBARK is Downtown L.A.’s newest underground spot to relax, have cocktails, talk
with friends, mingle, and truly just get the best out of life, not only with your friends,
but man’s best friends, dogs, as well. A supreme location that sports a large rooftop
deck with beautiful views of the L.A. skyline, Hangar 1018’s art gallery, and the
PETaPOTTY showroom, the space will seem endless!
SkyBARK will add a fresh new element to the L.A. social scene. In an effort to bring
awareness to the thousands of animals across the country being sentenced to death in
shelters, SkyBARK will host silent auctions with proceeds benefiting a local animal
rescue. New Leash on Life is a local rescue that has saved thousands of dogs from being
euthanized at local shelters due to overpopulation. The organization has a large celebrity
support base including Kim Bassinger, Jake Gyllenhaal, Debra Wilson, Jillian Barberie, and
many others that help support their cause and can usually be found at their yearly event,
Nuts for Mutts.
SkyBARK March 2006 will feature the silent auction for New Leash on Life, the hottest new
fashions for your pet, live music, food and drinks, dancing and more! At SkyBARK you will
be able to let your dog out of its carrier and mingle with the rest! All dogs that do
attend will receive a gift bag with samplings from some of the best pet products on the
market, including products from PETaPOTTY, Little Lily, Top Dog, Sherpa Pet , Doggie
Springs, Pet Flys, Dogswell treats, and many more.
